Yes, very somber. Nobody was cheering as he winner passed the wire. It was so quiet. Of course, Castellano had no idea, since Barbaro's injury happened behind him. He was pumping his fist in victory.

After the race, the winner walks by my section and everyone claps. This year, only me and a few others did. Very sad.

very sad - it would have been great to see Bernardini and Barbaro go head to head. Two fantastic horses. Prayers for his recovery.
