It was such a sad end to a good day. Barbaro broke down about 50 yards in front of me. I started yelling he had broke his leg. My whole section watched Edgar Prado try to control the horse instead of watching the race. We didn't even have a clue who won.

As the ambulance drove by, I could see Barbaro's head through the window...a good sign...then he kicked the wall of the ambulance so loud I thought the whole track could hear it.

I bet the mood was pretty somber there.

As I said above... I feel a little sorry for the winner. He won a race today, and no one wants to talk to him.
