Absolutely heartbreaking.
I have been worried all afternoon, even posted about just wanting a safe clean trip for the horses and riders.
Wet track?
Dear God, I cannot watch another replay of that.
I feel so horrible for that horse....Sam won the exacta.
No, the track is fast.
He tried to run on three legs. I am beyond upset now.
The replay shows him getting off okay, then into the pack and he has a mis-step, kinda looked like he pulled a muscle or something...if that's it, it's a darn shame tho better than really hurting himself in the gate...at least he didn't take a spill.
GOOD on Sam for betting my plumber.
I am completely sad and upset.
AWWREEET!!!
now tuck some of it away [hehehehehe]
Is Barabo's leg/hip broken/fratured from what you could see?
Unbelievable...Horrible,
Lemondropkid, now you know why I have such trouble watching horse racing any more. I used to love it, but everytime something like this happened, it took another piece of my heart. That let is shattered. Only thing holding it together it the bandage. I wouldn't be surprised if they have to euthanize that horse. I'm shaking and terribly upset.
Beyond upset here, too.
I can't watch another replay.
Devastating and beyond sad.
I hope he can be saved and sent to stud.
I feel sick...........I just feel sick.
Very sad. Looks like a flopping broken fetlock. They're all so young.
There's terrific potential in veterinary medicine, it's not necessarily grave for his life, but it's more than probably the end of his riding career.
It's the lower part of his right hind leg. I saw it, but don't want to go into details.
Well, I am very very sad about Barbaro.
But I am happy for Bernardini. Today in the Catholic Church is the feast day of Saint Bernardine. So I am glad I went to mass today to learn that. :-) $
nope , lower break [??]
stud time for Mr. B
The leg is broken, Grrrrr.
