You're theory about "camellion" is probably pretty close. I live in the 2nd most conservative city in the nation (2nd only to Provo, Utah), and I personally don't know any hispanics who are democrats. There are 3 or 4 semi-public figures who are "brown-power" type rabble-rousers, but I'm not acquainted with them, and I have a feeling they would be liberal even if they weren't hispanic.

I pulled up Utah, in the CNN poll, and although Hispanics were 5% of the vote, there was no data for them. But the "white" vote in Utah, matched the vote of the state as a whole, with 1% black and 1% Asian complementing the mix. So, a tentative thesis, is that the Mormons are brain washing the Hispanics, and Utah Hispanics are the most GOP leaning Hispanics on the fruited plain.

And there you have it.
