Today President Bush spoke about the American Competitiveness Initiative to a large crowd at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky
He also spoke at a fund raiser for Kentucky Congresman Geoff Davis at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport in Florence, Kentucky. The President also attended a luncheon for Rep Thelma Drake, R-Va., who was unable to attend her fundraiser due to an important vote in a House committee. But before he left for these events he met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal, at the White House this morning
A few weeks later I caught her on my laptop looking at German Shepperd Puppies, I knew she missed her dog and I told her that if she wanted another dog, I had no problem with that. (I wanted another one too) so we looked at several dogs on the net, nut my wife picked up our local paper and found someone near us offering to sell pure bread GS Puppies, we called and they said they had two left, we talked about it last Saturday night and we were not sure what to do until Sunday evening when I convinced my wife that she should call and see if they would let us see the Puppies around 7:00 PM. She and our Daughter went to look at them and she came home with the last female Puppy. Needless to say, we are very happy to have our new puppy, and my wife has a new bounce in her step :-)
I'm still here :-)
Oh no, O .. lol.. torture, torture...turn on AMC. ILW .. did you get a chance to see Karl Rove's speech today (replay)?
Mike is still here too!
Yikes! I hope you don't really have any nightmares...
Oh, well, hi there! :)
I won't...lol.
I'll watch American Justice or Forensic Files to make certain I sleep well.
AWwww .. nothing like it to put new joy in your heart and smiles on your face. She's so purty. I really miss my dog, but it's impossible in a highrise. Gratefully, my son is now her master, so she's still in the family and I get to see her when I visit him and they just adore each other .. I'm very lucky.
Nope. I didn't notice the ping in time...CSPAN probably has it though...
Okay, good :)
Howdy.... Top of the mornin to ya :-)
That has to be tough, I'm not sure how I would handle our Dogs in someone else's care
It is morning, isn't it? I've been kinda...distracted...lol
It's only 2:00 AM Here, so it's early yet :-)
Look forward to these every day - and it IS a spot of sanity - truly - thank you
Yep...I'll probably be up until at least 3...I got a special person to talk to ;)
Your Welcome :-)
Mike
This is it! this is THE ONE - have been waiting for 2-3 years for the perfect photo to paint a portrait of "W" from - it wouldn't be "him" without hand...and the face is right also.' THANKS
and this one with the rainbow - God's sign ? = He's protecting our President///
After I got settled in my apt., I'd keep hearing she was still with him. And then, when I was there 2 mos. later, I overhead him telling a friend who was shocked he had dog when he said for years he wouldn't .. that he couldn't let her go, she was just too good (and she is an angeldog). That was a miracle .. such a blessing .. and I'm so grateful that he fell in love with her too. If I couldn't have her with me, it's the best possible alternative. In FL, she was my security system and protector .. always on alert .. in a 1-acre fenced yard in the country. She's on vacation every day now, and living a grand, stress-free life, LOL. And she sure adjusted to city life MUCH better and quicker than I.
Here's Sheba .. she's all love.
