Somehow I guessed this was England even before I saw the name of the newspaper.

Put them in uniform through school, followed by a mandatory military or equivalent service hitch.

"from what I've seen, in the US it is the boys who are in big trouble and the girls are doing quite well."

You need to get out more! Girls today are out of control.

It seems being a "SLUT" is a badge of honor.

My two year old is staying in her room till she is 35! LOL

Baby girls are God's revenge on men....

You fall in love with them, become their hero, they turn on you, carry on and make your life miserable, they eventually get it together and you develop a new relationship then she turns around and gets married to some guy and makes you cry all over again.

I have a 11 year old son, and 9 year old twin daughters.

One of my twin daughters is special needs, so that may be the reason for the problems.

She is very impulsive, and she already has someone she wants to marry.

She then proceeded to say "If (boyfriend) tries that, then I'll kick him in the privates." I told her that I thought that was a great plan.

Something happend to my post, and half of it was deleted.

After I explained about my daughter, I said that I had to tell my daughters about sex last year. When I did, one of my daughters said "yuck", and the other one said "I'm going to tell (boyfriend) to do that to me.

I then explained again that she could get pregant, and that it was God's plan for her to wait until she was married.

After that she said she would kick her boyfriend in the privates if he tried that with her.

That's because the Liberal media and school systems keep telling our girls that they can do the same things as men, but omit telling them that the consequences are different.

We have girls growing up thinking that the are physiologically the same as men, that they can hold as much alcohol as us, and can take as much physical punishment. There are television shows where a 5'5", 110lb petite female will take on 5 men over 6"5, 240 and muscular, and destroy them in a physical fight. Sadly, one day a girl will start something she can't finish with the wrong person, and she will be in the shock of her life.

They need to be taught that;

A. They can get pregnant, men can't
B. Men are stronger than women (I remember being shown a study in my Psychology course that the upper body strength of the average male is 10 times the upper body strength of the average female, and male legs are also stronger, but to a lesser degree)
C. Women need guns to fight back effectively
D. Most women are not big enough to consume the same amounts of alcohol as men

Parents need to raise their daughters to be ladies, and their sons to be gentlemen, and most of this garbage will be avoided. If I ever have a daughter, she wont leave the house until she's 40 :)

Having gone to an "all boy" high school, this is how I bitterly imagined life "outside" would be. Please do not shattered the bitterness I have nutured a lifetime by telling me this was not the norm.

"Girls were far more likely than boys to have had sex: 31 per cent against 17."

Hmmmmm. There's a 14% discrepancy here.

Since the number of girls and boys are about equal, who are these 14% of girls having sex with -- each other? (Not that there's anything wrong with that. Actually ... well, never mind.)

I raised two boys and one girl. I agree. It's that witches' brew estrogen and progesterone.

Teenage girls are now more likely than boys to drink, smoke, steal and take drugs, a survey has shown.

Mine are not, and have dropped friends that did.

U remember HS, typically, all these girls are having sex with the same boys...thus...the school click of guys that are popular are bedding a lot of girls.

That's how it was at my HS...10-15 guys messing around with 100-150 different girls, which is why the statistics are skewed.
