Even worse is many libertarians rail against Bush for the surveillance and NSA stuff, as well as patriot act. These conservatives should know better. We are in a state of war and these folks are worrying about phone records...not even conversations just records of calls. I just wish they could objectively examine the threat to US A posed by the religion of peace, and try to imagine the level of freedom that will exist in a world under sharia law.

Don't get me wrong. I am all for the surveillance. But there is a reason to be somewhat nervous about it. It would be so much easier, wouldn't it, if we could actually declare war on someone. Then it would be a limited wartime power. IMO, it is very definitely a war on Islam, but that will never be declared.
