If the Mexican officials are the least bit concerned about the anguish of mexicans who have to illegally enter a foreign country to earn a living perhaps they should try to fix their own country instead of trying to tell us how to run ours.

Well, there you have it. The reason the Mexican Government doesn't want the outward flow of their citizens to the U.S. to be stopped is because it provides an outlet for those (young, restless, ambitious) who might otherwise get strange ideas about their own government, such as overthrowing the bunch of crooks. The current system is Mexico is based upon continuation of the status quo of the powerful and privileged and seeing that that money and power is retained within this very tight group of corrupt people.
