Did anyone doubt that was the intent all along?
It really lies with the House. Will they fold or will they refuse to Conference and hold for enforcement first. So far it's only been the admin/Senate that have caved, minimially, but slightly there. Keep up the calls. No Conferencing this bill.
The bottomline is that Business has the money, but the people have the votes. The Senate has sold out to business. They deserve to lose, business cannot manufacture enough votes for them if the base shows its finger to them.
Will the House call the People's bluff, or will they risk Business' anger? If I were them, in this new medium wheressroots activism can rival the monetary contributions in terms of elective success, I'd keep my people happy and call the bluff of business.
