It seems to be a mathematical principal (Complex Systems) that social system collapse in sudden, catastrophic shifts in coordinates. It may well be that we have to endure the unendurable pestilence of the left to have the populace see the light and exterminate and/or defuse these moon-bat vermin.
If you examine what adopting the "gay marriage" concept has done to other societies, you might be more suspicious. Basically, in such societies, people stop being married. What's the point? Nuclear families become a thing of the past - how dross. Society rejects a positive, life affirming, life.
But of course, the thing that binds individuals into a life affirming society is the natural family - the tie that binds husband and wife and child is much stronger that the sexual pleasure (and common thrill of perversion) that bonds the queer couple. I am sure that the queer couple would use any child entrusted to their parentage as an object for their sexual gratification. They are clearly self-centered narcissists who have no concern for others (spend a bit of time listening to their life stories). Certainly their proclivity for numerous, anonymous partners could clue you in.
A natural parent has an inherent concern for their offspring, and a concern for their mate that far exceeds, and endures way beyond, sexual relief. Things go wrong from time to time, but on the whole it works - yield child rearing to queers, and you will get an entirely different thing - I believe that you will be fostering child abuse and societal breakdown on a massive scale.
No flame from me! Excellent post.....
STILL waiting for the Constitutional Amendment to protect life.
This is window dressing for the conservative base. And while I agree with establishing this in the Constitution (a marriage must be a marriage regardless of which state you move to), so should when life begins and the worth of a person.
Something that would tackle abortion, euthenasia, "quality of life", cloning, and genetic testing as basis for discrimination in employment or insurance (among other things).
