Jimmu Carter was an idiot in high office and he is getting more senile every day.

I know somebody who volunteered to do a house building project for Habitat for Humanity. She signed up in part because she wanted to meet Carter. She took part in a building project with a group of women. In the planning meetings, the group kept suggesting energy saving ideas: more insulation, double thick windows, low flow shower heads, and yada, yada.

The project director nixed every energy saving idea. Remember, the people these houses are intended for are very poor. People who suffer the most from high heating costs. The director's reasoning went this way: "We cannot show preferences. These houses must all be built to the same specs. Otherwise, we would be discriminating."

My friend personally witnessed walls being finished without insulation. She spoke with a building inspector who told her that the house should not have passed code. He told he he could punch right through the walls. Nothing was in there at all.

Just like Jimmu's head.
