HOUSTON (AP) A federal jury has begun deliberations in the fraud and conspiracy trial of former Enron chiefs Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling.
here's hoping for conviction, and 10+ years at supermax.
Smirking chimp? Michael Moore, is that you?
To be honest I can't say I followed the details of this trial. I did get pretty tired of Enron being used as a Democrat talking point, though.
It stopped being a Democrat talking point when they discovered Ken Lay's crimes were committed while Clinton was President.
Heh! Not to the moonbat parades. Read their signs lately?
Enron's right up there with Halliburton to them.
Happy days are here again. Some still haven't discovered that the World Trade Center was first attacked while Clinton was President too.
Street pimps deserve better than these guys.
Just a joke about your "chimp" reference.
What did they do, exactly.
The Dems are finally getting their day in court?
KennyBoy and his wife both have had those plastic smiles pasted on for 4 months. Neither would know a *real* emotion if they actually felt one.
They have never acknowledged the pain and misery they caused so many people in this city, much less that they both played a part in it. Some of the charities even gave back the blood money. Too bad the RNC couldn't do the same, just as a message to these cruel, heartless jerks who think of absolutely no one but themselves.
Lay even had the gall to say that God is on his side - or that he'll be acquitted from these "trumped up" charges because of his faith in God. The minister he parades out to show people isn't even the one from his own home church.
Skilling is just arrogant beyond belief and it's quite obvious when you listen to him - but Lay is insidious in his phony back-slapping and glad-handing. Ick.
