This is a major accomplishment. For those that have keep abreast of just how hard it has been for Iraq to come to any middle ground is indicative there are a lot of responsible leaders that did not give up.
It is so easy to bad mouth such and such, without being in the middle of what they have had to go through.
IMHO, I believe this is a major hurdle they have jumped over.
So many believed they would never arrive at this point in time. It appears now to be a reality.

The president has accomplished some noteworthy things. There are tax cuts, the economy is stunning, unemployment is at historic levels, the war on terror is progressing well, the campaigns in Iraq & Afghanistan were stunning victories in terms of speed and military prowess, the reconstruction of Iraq is proceeding at historic speed, we have two new conservative justices on SCOTUS and many more in the District & Appeals levels, we own the House, Senate, and Governorships, home ownership is at a historic high, and we've not had a terrorist attack on the Homeland since those of 9/11.

This is an exceptionally successful president.
