LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Tribune Co. (TRB) said that consolidated revenue fell 3% in April, to $424 million. Ping for Wednesday morning good news...
Sell......Sell......Sell......
This is at least the second time I've seen an article blaming Easter for low ad revenue. What gives? I would figure the advertising for spring fashions, Easter related supplies, and lawn/garden items would be peaking. Unless someone can explain otherwise, this seems like a cheap excuse.
In spite of the noise of some heavy duty construction waking us up early, this is great news.
I have the same question.
What does the timing of Easter have to do with the predictable and miserable failings of these Dino Fishwraps?
TRB had problems across the board, and they are blaming it on the Easter Bunny.
Oh what a shame /s >
Sinking readership and revenue, because of biased and mediocre reporting, is finally taking its toll .
These fishwraps refuse to publically acknowledge the above.
They have to blame someone else for their own failures.
By blaming "Easter," the fishwraps try to get a two for one...it is the Christians' fault.
"By blaming "Easter," the fishwraps try to get a two for one...it is the Christians' fault."
When the liberals are in the processing of destroying themselves, they are a pathetic and comical group.
I take such glee at the thought of hundreds of thousands of commie J-school graduates being forced into honest work. Suffer, you b*****ds!

Certainly sounds feasible given almost certain resentment of our fishwrap deathwatch.
