I'm glad to see that you've seen the significance of this woman. I know it is easy to come to the conclusion that she was not worthy to come to the US based just one the information from the article (written by the left wing media). But her true story is much deeper, and we as Americans should be honored that she chose the US out of the many countries that she could have fled from her religious/PC persecution. The immigration debate has spun up many FReepers, but we all still need to remember that "The New World" will always be a place where one can flee from religious persecution.
The United States is one of the few places left in the world to which someone could flee from the Islamofascists and their politically correct enablers. Maybe also Australia and a few other places could take someone in who is being persecuted. Europe pretends to be secular and tolerant but they enforce much of what the Islamic theocrats want. Much of the so-called West is eager to take up the yoke of dhimmitude.
