Rove isn't some genius, his strategy barely beat two of the most liberal candidates EVER nominated by democrats, and his strategy to win the congress was to run liberal republicans instead of conservatives. Which gave us a technical majority, but a majority that falls apart on every key issue. So now the republicans are weak, can't government and take the blame because they are the majority, and are perceived to have power.
Rove is in the process of destroying the republican party.

"President George W. Bush's domestic spying program"
--- All the proof that anyone needs that Bush IS NOT LISTENING to the phone calls of American citizens was contained in the immigration surrender speech Monday night.

...will now become a gushing torrent. Is he nuts...or is this some kind of Rovian setup? I'm hoping for the latter. It will be in closed session and the leaks start flowing it will prove to all the world why he has resisted up to this point. They will never be able to retrain themselves.

Excuse me for being blunt No, I would rather excuse you for being dead wrong. Bush is the same, YOU have changed. Why so many of you think you know more (or better) then Bush does on how to deal with Democrats is beyond me.

Rove is in the process of destroying the republican party. At least Rove spells it with a capital R. I think I'll add you as well.

"They may as well put TV cameras in the room and allow Katie Couric to do play by play." Yeah, that's crazy. Allowing congressional oversight of this will be the same as going totally public.

Pathetic.

Haha I can't tell if your serious or not, but being a suspect for being a troll because of my lack of respect from proper nouns is pretty funny.

It'd be funny as hell if he's already went to the FISA court and gotten wiretaps on these clowns and arrests the first one who leaks just to prove he's serious about ending leaks.

The White House, under political pressure... -ReutersI'm always suspicious of that phrase used in the MSM, an easy one to use in a biased way. Whenever the President decides to do something, it is usually for a reason. Political reason. Because it's the right thing to do. Why should their opinion be reported as to why?
To: LSUfan
This is a White House double dare. They dare them to say it's illegal after they know and dare them to leak it to the press so they can slam their butts.

-- Pukin, you can do anything that you like.
Including coming up with a better theory on why Dubya is acting the way that he is.
Surrendering to the illegal immigrants certainly can't be to rally his base. It certainly can't be to increase the Republican presence in the Congress in the Fall elections.
And by the way, how long do you have to be here to be allowed to post, under your rules?

I am glad that there are two
gentlemen on this thread to defend a wonderful First Lady.
I have been lurking and not posting much because of all the vitriol, but I see that I need to marshal my temper and wade into the fray.
PD, you are quite correct to put them on the troll watch list. Comments like that are uncalled for.

Tell you what newbie, why don't you just try disrespecting the First Lady again, and see how long you last? I think you ought to ask the mods to remove your post, before they do it for you.
