"How well-maintained are they? Are Iranian pilots any good? Do they have spare parts?"

Based on the experience of what the mullahs did to the F-14's bought by the Shah:
-poorly maintained
-poorly flown
-poorly spared.

Let them have the F-16s - they will be hangar queens in short order, and removed from our new Castro's mischief.

Without the parts...its automatically a hangar queen. The US put alot of technology into the plane...as old as it is...and you can't sit there build spare parts from scratch...like you could from the F-14 or the C-130. Its a good speech and I'm sure this will be drawn out for the press. But the reality of this is zero.
