Since Law's archdiocese was the grand-dame of the nation with by far the most religious of any nation on Earth, he pulled a lulu. Most Cardinals are too busy with their diocese to be at their Roman parish. When he was removed from his primary responsibilities, he was simply freed up to tend to his lesser responsibilities: being pastor of a Roman church.
