The border patrol is not involved in "catch and release". That is INS and nothing is changing with it.

The only thing I see changing is with technology we will take their picture as they come across. Kind of like Candid Camera but their prize will be a stay in the U.S. The National Guard will not be involved in law enforcement. Hellloooooooo! Chris Simcox and his Minutemen will do more and are doing more than the National Guard who will not be involved in apprehending illegals. And, they will only be there for 1 year. What a joke. What happens then?

There already is H-1B visas for those jobs that need (which is a crock)workers. Let the Mexicans apply for these visa just like everyone else. Why should they be treated any different than everyone else?

Sure it is. Mr. President, some people commit rape and murder but no one advocates we stop enforcing laws punishing these crimes because they occur. Why should it be different for illegal immigration, huh? If we're not serious about kicking gate crashers out of our country, we don't deserve to have a country to live in. Period. No country will long survive that does not retain control over its borders.
