never witnessed an actual train wreck. bush couldn't deploy troops to louisiana after katrina because he can't legally do so. he had to ask permission. the governors of individual states govern those states executively. this is a mess, i think there should be a wall. the reason that it can't be fixed should be addressed in my opinion.

That's a bit of a straw man. Not that it's a big deal, but the guard can be federalized with the stroke of a pen.

this is a mess, i think there should be a wall. the reason that it can't be fixed should be addressed in my opinion.

That's the problem; it can be fixed. We the people know it, but our leaders would have us believe otherwise.
