So after decades of border incursions by illegals under Democrat and Republican administrations, you expect GWB to have the problem solved in six months. And if it's not done according to your timetable you are going to sit out the election? The Democrats must love you guys.

After five years and four months in office, Bush has had plenty of time to resolve the issue and correct the immigration problem, if that was his objective. Obviously, that hasn't been his goal. Even after 9-11.

No, thats not it. From what I have gathered from most people posting here is that there seems to be alot of frustration. Frustration at the unwillingness of Rep. to really solve this thing. There are so many solutions that could be used, but they refuse. All of these proposals amount to dragging their feet.
I think I can speak for most people that are frustrated by this; we hope if we make enough noise, maybe Bush will finally get the message. By his speech tonight, I think he's only halfway there.

I agree with Reaganman. The border issue has been much worse under Bush than it was under previous administrations.

Bush seems not to just have failed to address the issue. Bush seems to have actually promoted illegal immigration.

And I think it's because Bush has hispanic relatives. I think it's a family issue with him.

It's hard to imagine voting for a rat while the Muslims are still acting up. But it's getting hard to imagine voting for pubs if they are going to allow the country to be invaded anyway.

You're expectation that they've thought that far down the line is touching.

If these "conservatives" sit out the election, this time next year FR will be a nonstop stream of vanities titled "What was I thinking?" and "I can't believe I put Ted Kennedy and John Conyers in charge of committees".

The RNC really, really loves you too.

Go print out some campaign flyers or something.
