Rounding them up is cost-prohibitive, I accept that argument, actually. But there are alternatives; start cutting off finaicial aid, driver's licences, medical coverage, and so on for anyone who cannot prove that they are an actualy citizen of the US of A. Make hiring illegals to work a felony.

They come here because the spigot is alwqays a'running. Flip the switch to "OFF". Simple.

Agree with turning off the spigot. . .no FREE lunches and 'et al' perks, period.

. . .but despite those who say. . .we have our OWN work force to take care of these jobs, thankyou. . .the truth of the matter is we do not. . .and the majority of those here are working and we need them to continue doing so. . .

. . .but we can slow this down. . .and send back those who are not inclined to the higher aspects of citizenship by requiring some personal responsibility towards being a 'good citizen'. . .and change the old citizenship initiation; requiring more than 'birth on our soil'. . .(parents not legal. . .baby not legal. . .)

And instead of our employers being fined for employing illegals. . .confiscate instead, the monies currently being paid back to Vicente Fox by 'virtue' of his Mexican citizens working in U.S.A. . .

And send every illegal revolutionary and gang member and law breaker. . .home; no matter where it is, immediately. . .

And you're wrong. Late in Clinton's adminstration, the border patrol was deporting about 1.5 million per year. At that time (as best I can find numbers) the budget for the ENTIRE INS was around $4.2 billion.
