Well, the apology was appreciated, quite rare. And I will admit that Bush is conservative on some issues, but the illegal immigration issue is an empire killer. All other goals will be swamped if you have another 50 million uneducated and socialistic illegals added to the voter pool, and that is where Bush's current plan is headed despite the spin put on it.
There is more to it than that. No one, no president, no congressman ... no one on either side of the border ... is, apparently, willing to close down not only the free flow of illegal aliens ... but also is not going to close down the free flow of illegal drugs. It is big business, big corruption ... there is far too much at stake for far too many corrupt politicians and others.While they keep people busy thinking about the traffic in illegal aliens ... their passion is not directed at the flow of illegal drugs. It's all smoke and mirrors. And, all dangerous.
