If border control is so "urgent", why's he just getting around to it now?
Ask Zogby.
Oh boy, let's spend more money - politician's answer to everything. Why not just build a fence and back it up with technology and patrols?
What is the matter with having real fences? We built a 23 mile long fence below San Diego on the border. It has worked. A virtual fence stops no one. It just alerts the BP that people are coming in. The BP agents must then apprehend the people coming in. They must be detained and processed legally. That takes time and money. If they can't get in here in the first place, you don't need detention centers, judges, or exposing BP agents to possible injury in the apprehension process.
We have a virtual fence because it can be taken down much easier and faster. How gullible do these politics think we are? If we don't build more physical barriers, we are really not serious about border security.
"If border control is so "urgent", why's he just getting around to it now?"
Because he urgently needs a coverstory because Amnesty+ doesn't look like it's going to go through.
"If border control is so "urgent", why's he just getting around to it now?"
I thought the same thing.
And now he just said it a second time.
It must be *really* urgent.
Um, because it's not important to him or Fox?
