My bad. My very bad. About a week ago someone posted a link to me where I found what appeared to be a legitimate website of G. Allen's and a statement about firearms that would make Algore proud. If I could find it again I'd like to investigate it. Nothing looked phony about it. Nonetheless, here is his statement about firearms ownership. NRA worthy!

I don't have the energy tonight to go back and read the posts about Allen's position vis a vis guns, but he did support the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban" until a couple years ago when the political winds changed.
