Well, to be honest, the Hispanics I know and have known have been here legally for many years and generations. They are more patriotic and more Republican than any dozen others I know - but this is anecdotal, not widespread.

Again, I'm not anti-Hispanic, in fact I was the "go see guy" when the fellows got ripped off for their pay.
I could have shined them on to the California Labor Board, but they were years behind in responses.
Having stacked tile roofs in California's hot summer, I did what I could (and very effectively if I may say so myself) to see they got what was due to them. In the 2 plus years I did this, I never did have one of the suspects say the the mucachos were lying. But overall, Mexico has to clean up their act.
