"We'll see how November turns out. If this is the tack the conservatives are going to take the next few months, I wouldn't want to be a democrat right now after this speach. They have to oppose it and all he said in it, and that will put the democrats in the way of what a clear majority of Americans want."
I couldn't agree with you more. President Bush heaved a fastball at the Dems, and they will swing and miss.
We all should vote Republican in Nov. Too much is at risk not to do so. Judges, our votes all come down to that thought.
These people don't care! The cut off your nose to spite your facers, here, would much rather get NOTHING, then get most of what they claim to want.
It is my belief that to this point, many or most Republicans have been so afraid of being called racists by the democrats, they have been unwilling to stand up and do what most of the conservative voters want them to do, when they should have been more afraid of what Conservative voters will do to them if they don't put up REAL border security legislation, and told the libs to take a flying leap with their baseless racist name calling. I think this has the potential to change as it becomes more and more clear that 70% or more of American citizens, not just Conservatives, but 70% of ALL Americans, want real border security and want the illegals deported, period. Some Republicans are bound to realize that, and all the calls and letters from their consituants won't hurt. As they do, that will help the conservative majority also, and I really believe this is not a possibility, but a certainty. The question is, how many Republicans will figure out that it's better to listen to us, the real majority of Americans, the conservative majority, than to listen to the liberal minority and their liberal media lapdogs. That remains to be seen. This is just what I think though. :)
I think this below should be a bumper sticker. :)
