I will vote for the Republican newbie who is challenging Chet Edwards (D-TX) because he is very strong on border enforcement. All candidates, Democrats or Republicans or Independents, who vow to overturn the dirty deal the President and the Senate are about to foist on the country should get conservative support. Anyone who supports the President's plan should be defeated. It's really simple.
So, what do I do in Connecticut, where I can vote for Christopher Shays (R) or Diane Farrel (D), both liberals, and where I can choose between Joe Lieberman (D) and who-knows-who (but whose probably liberal) (R)?
In the past, I have cast caucus votes for the Republicans, even though they never stand against abortion, which is the issue I think is of greatest moral import.
Do I cast another caucus vote?
Or do I go riding?
Don't believe a word a dem tells you -- they will say anything in an ad, but when they get to DC they will do Pelosi and Reids bidding.
