We don't have enough water, enough housing, enough medical care, enough teachers, etc.
Can you imagine ten years from now when the 12 million become 100 million?
It makes me shudder. People have to quit living in the today and think about tomorrow... we hear all about all the spending and budget deficits here over and over, people need to start looking at the whole picture of how we are changing this country by allowing this large of a population immigrate from one country/ethnicity and if we have the infrastructure to support this without affecting our overall standard of living.
Everything has a cause and effect. Look at the energy situation since we helped improve the economies of China and India>
