"What is the matter with having real fences?... A virtual fence stops no one. It just alerts the BP that people are coming in. The BP agents must then apprehend the people coming in. They must be detained and processed legally. That takes time and money.

If they can't get in here in the first place, you don't need detention centers, judges, or exposing BP agents to possible injury in the apprehension process."

Very good points. That's why I have reposted them.

When they replace all the walls and fences (and also all the guards, police and secret service) around the WH and Capital Hill with these "virtual" fences, and they prove how well they work...THEN I'll go for "virtual" border fences.
