I think the concept of 'self deportation' is the key. I don't think we need to deport millions of illegals. We need to enforce the law, take away their benefits, and they will leave of their own accord.

I believe self deportation is a mis-nomer. You see, illegal aliens don't care if they are Americans. They just want to suck the milk w/o paying for the cow. It's all about making the money to send home.etc.

THEY ARE NEVER GOING TO TURN THEMSELVES IN FOR ANY REASON, NO MATTER HOW BIG AND TASTY THE CARROT IS!!!!!! WHY SHOULD THEY? THEY'VE GOTTEN ALONG THIS LONG W/O ANYONE BOTHERING THEM. FOR GOODNESS SAKE, FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES, WE ARE BI-LINGUAL AND PLUS THEY GET FREE MEDICAL CARE, AND FREE EDUCATION FOR THEIR KIDS. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY VOLUNTARITY GO BACK HOME AND HAVE NOTHING??? HELLOOO!!

If they wanted to be real AmericanS and blend into society like everyone else has done, they would go the legal route.
