How does one get a security clearance as an illegal? It is one of the reasons this debate is complex.. technically, illegal immigration is only a misdemeanor, and thus, they are looked at as the 'foreign national'. The law for this started right after Pearl Harbor when tens of thousands of illegal immigrants came from Mexico to join us fighting Japan. Because of the influx of 'illegal' immigrants moved to fight with us by Pearl Harbor, the Senate passed an emergency bill regarding military qualifications in regard to illegal immigration.
I'll look up the detail if needed.. this was all from memory..

I just finished watching this speech. This is an amnesty. Pure and simple. And a lot of meaningless platitudes. In short, I heard nothing that alters my point of view. I will not support any politician who votes in favor of this proposal.Surely, you jest. LOL
