To everyone against a border fence I ask; why not try it? It's a releatively small investment, and if it doesn't work it can be removed. And if we keep them from crossing, we don't need the expense of apprehension, trial and deportation.

Please explain to me how you (we) can continue to support a President who so blatantly ignores one of his direct Constitutional duties?
Before you c$ap on me - I didn't support Reagan on border issues even though I thought he was the best President in modern times. I hate Carter and Slick Willie was a joke. But we are in a war in Iraq to stop terrorists "from coming here" yet the highway remains open with only minor speed bumps. At the very least several hundred terrorists have crossed the border, at the most 7,000. The next attack here will show that they all came across the border(s) illegally - including Canada.
Sorry but I am done with the Bush condoned Mexican invasion of my country. It is indefensible.

Let us give the president a chance . See what he has to say.I like the motion sensors this is a good idea. Nothing stops a robber like a motion sensor, good idea.Guard , 1 year on the border I like that also.If he does not have enough we will all help.I have a lot of faith in THE USA. GOD BLESS IT,THE PRESIDENT , THE FLAG OF COURSE AND OF COURSE OUR BORDER GUARDS AND THE TROOPS IN COMBAT. Go George go!I really like this speech, let's see what the demos have oooooooooooppppps, as usual nothing.
To: Fawn
I think he said most that are caught are sent home.

Lie- Mexico is our friend. Mexico does everything in its power to subvert our laws.
Exactly. Smoke and mirrors! IF he REALLY cared, he would have done this right after 9-11.

"Temp worker program - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Same thing as amnesty!"
Actually, no. The amnesty is for illegals already here. Bush wants to INCREASE low wage immigration further.
