The whole article is silly...

Rationally, one would have to wonder how significant the correllation really is. I am sure they didnt have a large sample size, so, in essence the conclusions are knee jerk.

Rational observation leads me to beleive, that this is all over the map...there are just as many obese women (with kids) at home as their are in the workplace. Thus, as one post already declares, diet and exercise are the true dictates of whether a Mom is obese or not. And, who or "who" isnt more "prone" to being obese simply by employment is pure, silly, conjecture.

The study is just a study. As we know, more studies will tend to support or disconfirm the findings of previous studies.

What is silly about this thread is the attempt by some to suggest that:

Work outside of the home mom = BAD
Stay at home mom = GOOD

as though those are the only 2 factors involved in turning out good, well adjusted kids who grow into good citizens.
