If your government does what it did last time, they will give all these folks amnesty, increase the number of visas, but neglect to fund and carrry out the enforcement provisions, such as they are, of the border. Things will get worse, and there is no way to make it better.

We could absorb illegal immigrants. I'm not sure we could absorb 200 million more people in 30 years time. I mean LEGAL immigrants. And we all know Congress is not going to give the immigration bureaucracy nowhere near the resources necessary to handle expeditiously the increased workload.
