Cornyn and Hutchison from Texas are opposing amnesty. They want the illegals to go home and apply for citizenship the right way. I support this approach with a speeded up program for legalization.

I also think we should repeal the anchor baby amendment.

We cannot afford this financially or environmentally. There is only so much land, but more than that, there is only so much water and power in this country.

If we create a low-class workforce there is no way we can keep taxes down, rather it's a slippery slope to socialism (or worse).

"Cornyn and Hutchison from Texas are opposing amnesty."

I don't trust ANY of them. I want them to come out and say very CLEARLY what their intentions are and STICK with them.
I am sick of these politicians saying one thing to appease us and then they turn around and do the opposite to gain VOTES. What they are too stupid to realize is that they are now going to lose more votes from us [the citizens who have worked their entire life to make a good life for their families LEGALLY] As far as I'm concerned they can all take a permanent retirement from politics.

If you watch the news in the larger cities of Texas all you see are lawyer ads with hispanic accents telling people how to sue each other and/or collect social securtity disability. It's so pathetic....... even the grocery stores are now pandering to the mexican community. Many products have larger mexican print than english describing the item. In Walmart there are overhead TV's with ads blaring in spanish!

I really wish my children would decide not to have any more children, I don't see a very good future here any more.
