My kids need summer work and could do farm jobs if the migrants weren't around to displace them....many teens need part time work but can't find the work because of the illegals. What about those "Americans"!
I'll bet there's still plenty of openings for your kids to fill, so long as they don't insist on earning the minimum wage. Send 'em on out.
How does hiring an American differ from hiring a nonAmerican in the farming business? Are farmers refusing to hire Americans?
The majority of illegals are no longer working as nannies, pickers or cooks anymore. They are working construction, truck driving and the building trades. Oh yeah, those are jobs "americans won't do". What's the matter with all of you supporters of this idea? If the border were clamped and the illegals went away would you have to pay YOUR new workers more and pay any benefits yourself instead of letting the rest of the taxpayers do it? No better than the democraps when it comes to redistributing the taxpayers money.
I was a bus boy and a janitor when I was in High School. I couldn't get those jobs today. When my son is ready for his first entry level job, where he is supposed to build on his work ethic and start learning work skills, those jobs simply won't be available to him.
