A back seat to Spanish speaking students

Your bigotry may be misplaced here. I know of one elementary school in Texas where they have over a half dozen classes of pre-K and K for CHINESE speaking children. Classes for the following languges are located at another school: Japanese, Russian, Farsi, Korean, Armenian, Urdu, Bengali, Tagalog, Albanian, Tamil, Arabic, Hindi, Vietnamese, Dutch, German, Gujarati, Kurdish, Malayalam, Portuguese, Punjabi, Telugu, and Thai.

Well EXCUSE me! This is the United States. We speak ENGLISH here. There is NO earthly reason why an ENGLISH speaking child should take a BACK SEAT to someone who doesn't speak the language. THAT is NOT "bigotry". Look up the meaning of the word.

I don't care how many schools cater to FOREIGN languages, NO ENGLISH speaking child should be REJECTED because that child speaks the language of the land - ENGLISH.

There is something VERY WRONG where ENGLISH speaking children are REJECTED because their first language isn't FOREIGN. If anything the FOREIGN speaking students should be REQUIRED to speak ENGLISH.

In case you didn't know catering to a FOREIGN language with the hope of LATER having the children learn ENGLISH, is NOT working - THAT is a FACT. They finish up school still not learning ENGLISH. a healthy country needs a COMMON language. It has always been ENGLISH and should remain ENGLISH otherwise we will quickly become a second rate country. This diversity crap when it comes to a COMMON LANGUAGE will just aid the decline of the U.S..
