The biggest problem with diplomats is that they think EVERYTHING can be solved with JUST A LITTLE MORE DIPLOMACY.

Anyone with common sense knows there is no negotiation here. Iran has, and will continue, to do whatever it wants while the world asks it nicely to stop. There will be no repercussions and they know it.

The only people who don't get it are the diplomats. I think they don't get it because as soon as they say "There is no more room for negotiation" they are removed (read: not getting paid anymore) and replaced with someone who has a "fresh vision".

What is needed is a leader who gets fed up with negotiation. In that case, we are in short supply. Iran will create nuclear weapons while the whole world watches. Then the diplomats will just move along to some other assignment, never having to deal with the repercussions of their failure.

Until the mushroom cloud lights up the city they are in. Then, and only then, will they get it.
