Such threats are just the beginning.
After systematically refusing to develop our own energy resources for the last 30 years the proud U.S.A has been called of dependency by the likes of Chavez and this Iranian nut.
Dependency, the success story of liberals, lefties, environs made possible by their Democrat Congress reps.
Why is it that our MSN does not publish all those now historic no exploration, no refining, no nuke power votes.
Dependency is exactly was it says, we lost our ndependence.

Here in NZ I have probably never seen so many people defending a right-wing nut as Noriega. But because his opponent is Uncle Sam many here are ao willing to accommodate someone whose ideology they find extremely repulsive.
Anti-Americanism is a mental disease, and dare I say, sounds a lot like the Bible definition of sin.

But which government would they rather live under, that of Venezuela or of the United States?
It's very easy to play the game of "If I Were King" when one doesn't have the power or the responsibility to make difficult decisions with international consequences.
"Anti-Americanism is a mental disease..." So they caught what Noam Chomsky has, eh? Pity, but tell them that Australia and America will continue to provide for their security anyway, and hope they get better soon.
