I didn't think some Marines was pussies until now. Chesty Puller would be proud.
By the way I sleep peaceful because the Army and Navy and Air Force protects me not just the Marines. Funny thing is I can't recall a single big war you guys won by yourselves?
hey...... uh, you're right. Funny thing is, most Marines that have seen combat will tell you they wanted everyone they could to get in on the fight.
if I could have during a firefight I'd of called in Army tankers, Air Force Bombers, Navy Bombers, Navy missles and big guns, Army artillery.....hell I'd of taken supporting fire from a Coast Guard cutter.. we're all on the same team, especially in combat.
I've been in a combined force that had some of the best soldiers I've ever had the privledge to meet/greet and fight with.
The interservice rivalry is as old as there are different units. We're like brothers in the front yard fighting with each other...we may be knocking the cr@p out of each other, but if somebody outside the family tries to grab my brother and pull him off....then we'll both pound on you.
The reason Marines might be the way they are is that we don't have fancy tanks, the newest jets, hottest transport vehicles or even the "smartest" guys (I guess).... all we have is our bond with our brother Marines and pride in our ability to overcome and adapt in order to do the mission, or die trying.........and we have the best looking dress uniform of all the armed forces.../sarc..roflmao.
