I'm confused. Did they really say support the MINUTE MEN? I did hear it said that they would not replace the border patrol. How much good can the troops do in that capacity. It sounds like administrative work (without guns to protect themselves). AND, is it going to be up to each individual state to decide whether or not the troops go to their border?

I should have said Border Patrol. However, I was listening to commentary at the time I was posting, and they were talking about the Minute Men....my confuse !

And yes, from what I understand, The President can deploy the U.S. Armed Services. The Gov.'s have control over the Nat'l Guard in their state. But who knows! There are alot of STRONG ARMS going on in this thing that we don't know about. It is pathetic !
