If they do abosorb a first strike their retaliation capabilities will be severely limited... maybe they get on back on Tehran however, Iran doesn't care in the mind of Amadmannajad Israel will be gone... don't be too suprised if the terrorists get on in Manhatten too just to prove the point that the President has been making the oceans do not protect us from this threat.... Anyway the bottom line is that after NOV election this president will be stripped of any command authority... censure, impeachment, executive power limits, the liberals wedge issue deployment very well may win them majorities...

You will not get their subs. To take out their Air Force would require multiple simultaneous nuclear strikes. To take out their missile force would require multiple nuclear strikes. To do this Iran would have to have a sophisticated and coordinated first strike nuclear capability. Iran does not have this capability. If Israel detected multiple inbound missiles they would launch before impact. It is the old use or lose game. Their sub based nuclear weapons would be held in reserve to take out what survived their first retaliatory strike. The vast majority of Nuclear Weapons that Israel possesses will survive. It should also be pointed out that Israel has thermonuclear weapons. The Iranians are years away from this technology.
