I'm not sure anyone knows what the Bush41/Perot feud was about. I seem to recall Perot whining about his daughter's wedding being infiltrated (or something) by Republican spies... it was reall nutball stuff.

It also turns out Perot and Clinton "were" good friends. Leaves me very suspect that the whole thing (back then) was an end run to split the GOP; if so, it worked and gave us Clinton.

I hope everyone remembers this in '08 when Hillary pulls out the same old playbook.

His daughter's wedding problems were why he dropped out, before he came back in.

I had heard somewhere (so long ago that I don't remember where) that part of the reason why he disliked 41 was because he did not have free access to the WH.

Ross did have some tinfoil hat theory about his daughgter's wedding, but that was after he was already running, so the hate must have started before that.

Although, I think hating Bush was the impetus for Perot's run, I also think it was vanity...he thought he had the answers to run a successful country like he did a successful business. It's a little harder.

Now, if Bush could fire senators like Perot could fire useless employees, it might be easier.
