The Dems have painted themselves into an indefensible corner on National Security, and they can't get out of it.
They can rally no more popular support. The only way to win is divide conservatives, and immigration is the wedge.
There are a lot of provocatuers at work throughout the conservative body.
Sadly, you're right. We have to battle Republicans almost as often as we do Democrats and the media. The saving grace is, we know they are trying to divide conservatives and we can combat their efforts to a degree.
