The article is excessive in parts.
But hold off until he speaks? No, cannot do that in good conscience.
The administration is floating trial balloons to guage reaction before Monday night's speech. If people are reserved in judgement or even silent, the administration would assume, if not completely onboard, that folks are not outright hostile to what has been leaked.
NG is good, but it's nowehere near enough. And continuing to push amnesty/Guest worker before the problem of securing the border is addressed is absurd. And continues to lead people to believe their suspicions are correct. That it is a feint to the right just long enough to shove the rest down our throat. They don't have the trust on the people on this issue. They have to earn it before we talk of what to do beyond enforcing the border.
Given the choice, wouldn't you prefer to alert the administration to an oncoming trainwreck...rather than tell witnesses to that train wreck afterwards you saw it coming and said nothing? He may still step in front of that train, but at least it'll be suicide rather then being unaware it was heading right towards him. Implying a choice in the matter.
Yep. Stem the tide first. Then enact a strict assimiliation program. LEARN ENGLISH, no welfare benefits after six months, emergency servcices only, anything else they pay for like the rest of us, no voting, and holding public offices, photo IDS for all, and limit money transfers to 50 dollars. This would be a good start. Half of them will be unable to meet these requirements, and will be forced to leave..
There are a lot of issues including the illegal foreign national debate that we must start getting loud on. Defense, spending, judiciary, taxation; lets work together on all of these because with the Dems we will get NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH of what we want.
