"How many of our problems today are connected to the abortion Holocaust? Our labor shortage, leading to mass illegal immigration. Our shortfall in social security funding because of reduced workers paying taxes?"

I'm not following your logic. What labor shortage? Non-workers are down to about 4.7% of the workforce now. That's the lowest its ever been. And our shortfall in Social Security is as much due to a growing older population that anything.

We may have fewer workers today than we would have had abortion not been so prevalent, but to say that is a root cause of illegal immigration and our Social Security problems is a bit of a stretch.

Economic theory is that when unemployment reaches 3-5% the economy is operating at full employment, because you will always have a % of the population that is unemployable or between jobs. Thus, if our unemployment is at 4.7% and the economy is growing, which means jobs are being created, where do these new businesses find employees?

Due to the fact that we have fewer workers and the magnet for illegal immigration has been created. The underfunding of social security is exacerbated by the millions of workers who are working for cash.
