"Key to the agreement is who will be negotiating a compromise with the House, which last December passed an enforcement-only bill that would subject the estimated 11 million to 12 million illegal immigrants in the United States to felony charges as well as deportation. "

What's going on? This passed LAST DECEMBER?

WHY isn't it being enforced NOW as well as the rest of our arsenal of LAWS that don't allow ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS?

How many laws do we need?

ENFORCE THEM.

It's ILLEGAL to be here without proper paperwork. If they want to be citizens they can go through the LEGAL process just like the rest of us and our relatives did.

Read it again. Sounds like it passed the House but not the Senate. We don't know that the President would have signed it.

Don't get me wrong. I am with you.
