Flying home last night on American Airlines aboard a Super 80,
I picked up the information card about the aircraft to read,
"Final Assembly in America". Where were the sub-assemblies made?

Does it matter? You obviously landed safely and probably flew at less cost than you otherwise could have if there was some kind of domestic parts composition requirement.

Probably all over the world. This has been going on for years.

My company sells thousands of tons of steel bars to a large roto-tiller company for their axles. I buy the bars from Japan due to their superior quality.
