Sort of. To begin with, all publicly printed materials should be exclusively in English (unless they are targeted and independently funded for a specific purpose, sort of like how they target actors for ethnic roles).

But you are right -- as long as public business is not being conducted, we should let it go.

The people who purchased my old house in my old neighborhood didn't even speak English. And they didn't need a dime out of their own pocket either. They obtained their downpayment from a government grant. My old neighborhood was being run-over by illegals, and maybe some Legal, unassimilated Mexicans.

I moved because I saw my home value going down in future years, I moved because the School District was already going down. I moved because I wanted to be in a neighborhood where all the residents spoke English.

I had this 8 years previously at the same house I sold, but so much changed in so little time.

Dear immigration enforcement: Please come to Flushing, NY. Preferably right before primary day (say, 1st week of September), this way all those illegals that have registered to vote will stay away and we will have a clean primary.

I received an e-mail recently. Without going into detail, suffice to say that some people with a problem decided to wear blue and gold caps with an "INS" logo. If I remember correctly, "INS" stood for "Inner Neighborhood Services". Apparently, the results were amazing. LOL
